Erection and dismantling are easier, faster and cheaper than scaffolding.
Erecting, dismantling and relocating a platform is markedly easier and faster than scaffolding: a 30 × 50 m platform can be erected in two days and dismantled in one. With fewer parts, loading, unloading and haulage cost less too — 1,000 m² of scaffolding fills a truck, while 3,000 m² of platform fits on two.
Far fewer ties are needed than with scaffolding: the platform is anchored every 6 m, and a 30 × 50 m platform needs only eight connections in total.
